Josiah Clark Warrior-Benson

This is our new little blessing, Josiah Clark Warrior-Benson. He was born on Dec 31st 2007, at 12:50am. He weighed 8lbs 13oz and 21 1/4 inches long. He is a Stud already! I chose Josiah because he was the youngest king in the bible. Clark, after me and my twin brothers best friend who past away a few months ago. (He is with us everyday! We love you Trav!)

I think I was in labor for around 19 hours, but only because my 1st epideral didn't work properly. UUUGH! After the 2nd one, everything started to fall into place. My husband, mom and sis-in-law Jeni were in the room with me while I delivered. If it wasn't for Jeni's hard work and her making sure everyone was doing their job, I don't know if I would have made it. She was beside me every step of the way and there are not enough words to thank her. She is the BEST nurse in the world! I love you Jen!!!

I can say these first 2 weeks of his life has been an Adventure for me and his dad, but for the most part alot easier than what I expected. Well, to tell you the truth I didn't know what to expect. The whole 9 months was a Big blurr to me. It was so easy and not anything what everyone was telling me about. I was blessed with a perfect pregnancy! I am so excited about the next phase in Josiahs life. Right now, I am enjoying just cuddling with him and him eating, pooping and sleeping.

You think you know love but I can truly say not until you have a child of your own. I thank the Lord every day that HE thought of me, out of everyone in this world, chose ME to be his mommy! I love this kid!

Yay for you!! Awesome post! It was one of the greatest honors I have ever had to be in the delivery with you! Thank you for giving me that experience. We love Josiah and cannot wait for him and Lydia to be old enough to play together! Love you all!!

Tasha, this is a great job! I enjoyed reading everything you wrote. I connected your blog to mine, also. Thanks for mentioning Trav. I know he's with you in spirit and his love will always be there for you and your family. God bless you all.
